How to get to Tokyo Disney Resort from Yamanote Line

Keiyo Line Signboard at Tokyo Station

The other day, I had the opportunity to take the Keiyo Line.
The Keiyo Line is the train you take when you go to Tokyo Disney Resort.
Its platform at Tokyo Station is far from other lines, and it takes time to change trains.
You might be anxious when you change trains.
So, I will show you how to change trains from Yamanote Line to Keiyo Line at Tokyo Station.

How to change trains from Yamanote line to Keiyo Line

Tokyo Station Signboard

It starts from the platform on the Yamanote Line.
There’s signboard on the wall.
It shows Keiyo Line (京葉線).
By the way, Maihama (舞浜) shown below is the closest station to Tokyo Disney Resort.

When I went down to the 3rd basement floor, I found the departure time and home number in front of me.
It is a good idea to check here which train you will take.

When you go to Tokyo Disney Resort, head to Maihama (舞浜) Station.

I got to the Keiyo Line platform at last.
A picture of Tokyo Disney Resort is drawn at Maihama (舞浜) Station.
It takes 17 minutes to be  Maihama Station by local train.
The train labeled Musashino Line also stops at Maihama Station.

Now, all you have to do is head to Maihama Station.

Reason why Keiyo Line platform is far from other line
Keiyo Line Train at Tokyo Station

Keiyo Line was constructed most recently.
Therefore, there is not enough space around Tokyo Station, and it is constructed in a place a little far away.
Originally, there was a plan for the Narita Shinkansen (bullet train) that connects Narita Airport and Tokyo Station.
The plan was canceled, and the Keiyo Line platform was constructed in the space reserved for the Narita Shinkansen.
